Bay City, Texas — The Board of Managers of the Matagorda County Hospital District is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. J. Warren Robicheaux, FACHE, to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Robicheaux comes to Matagorda County after 13 years of service to the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System (ETMC), with 11 of those years being in a CEO or Senior Administrator role. “Mr. Robicheaux’s list of accomplishments range from physician recruitment and building new clinical service lines to leading significant improvements that resulted in the Texas Medical Foundation Health Quality Institute’s Commitment to Quality and Excellence Award,” said Mike Muecke, Chairman of the MCHD Board of Managers. “These verified accomplishments plus his excellent reputation and remarkable knowledge of the healthcare industry made him an outstanding choice for the CEO position.”
Robicheaux said, “My family and I are looking forward to making our home in Matagorda County, and we’re excited to find our place in the community. I’m also looking forward to continuing the great work that has already been done at the hospital while exploring new ways to improve service, quality, and access. I could tell during the interview process that the local care teams are ready to move forward, and I’m eager to jump in and get started.”
