Our staff’s goal is to make giving birth rewarding and memorable, ensuring that mother and baby receive professional care, while allowing that most important personal time to get to know the newest family member.
The Labor, Delivery and Recovery rooms are equipped with fetal monitors to keep track of the mother’s and baby’s condition during labor. Having a baby in The Women’s Center facilities is a family-centered experience.
If you require a C-section for the delivery of your baby, we have a designated operating suite conveniently located adjacent to our patient rooms.

Special arrivals occur in our labor and delivery rooms each month. Our experienced physicians and skilled nurses help make this joyous event a healthy and personal one. Our Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDR) Suites provide a home-like setting while being equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring and delivery capabilities. We believe in Mother/Baby Care. Moms can keep their newborns by their side as much as they wish, and nurses teach the new moms how to be at ease with their babies.
Babies can remain in the new mother’s room as much as the mother likes, unless the baby is having problems or is needed for tests. Parents and/or significant other with a hospital-issued identification bracelet are welcome in the nursery. Questions are encouraged.
Pediatricians visit the babies daily, and meet with parents to discuss any healthcare concerns. Security is assured by checking identity bracelets. Security monitors also are in use.
