Rio Colorado Golf Course was the host location for 128 golfers at the 8th Annual MRMC Foundation Golf Tournament that took place on August 12, 2017. The Foundation raised $33,824 at the Golf Tournament due to the generosity and support of individuals, industry and local businesses in the community. All proceeds from this event were put towards bringing 3D Mammography to the Matagorda Regional Medical Center.
Without dedicated volunteers, sponsors and donors, the Golf Tournament would not be the great success that it is every year. The MRMC Foundation is very appreciative of the support it receives at this event and is looking forward to hosting its 9th Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, August 11, 2018. It’s not too early to start checking your calendars and pull a team of four together as there is a limit of 36 teams. Sponsorship opportunities will be sent out and team registration will be accepted beginning in June. All proceeds from this year’s tournament will go towards the purchase of a CT Scanner for the Matagorda Regional Medical Center.
It is always a fun day of golf and fellowship where you are guaranteed to not go hungry or thirsty. A buffet-style breakfast, snacks for the course, beverage carts and a catered lunch are provided for all players and volunteers. Also included with your $400 team registration fee are green fees, range balls, cart fee, goodie bags, great service and an even better time!
The Foundation is looking forward to making this year’s Golf Tournament an even greater success than last year’s and hope that you will join us in making it happen August 11th!
